About Kovai Guide

Kovai Guide is a city guide and local directory for Coimbatore. It lists places to visit, local businesses, events, offers, stays, jobs and property. It connects visitors directly with businesses and with the people who post. We are not a party to any enquiry, quotation, order, booking, payment, hiring, sale or rental between them. Those are matters between the two sides.

We do not guarantee the quality, price, legality or availability of anything shown on the site, and we do not act as agent, broker, employer or guarantor for any business, advertiser or user.

Using the site

Browsing the site is free. You must be at least 18 years old to submit a listing or post, and you must use the site for lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse the site, including by copying listings in bulk, running automated scripts against it, or trying to break or bypass its security.

Business listing plans and prices

Business plans are valid for 12 months from the date a listing is activated. All prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. What each plan includes is described on the Pricing page and on the page of each plan.

The Premium Plus plan includes 3 job posts a month, as described on its page. We may change prices and plan features from time to time. A change does not affect a plan you have already paid for until it is renewed.

Jobs, property, events, offers and stays

Job posts are paid per post and run for the period shown below.

Property listings cost ₹1,499 per listing (details). A property listing has no expiry date and stays live until the property is sold or rented. You must tell us when that happens so we can mark it as sold or rented or remove it. We may remove a property listing that is out of date.

Events, offers and stays: any fee is shown on the form or pricing page for that kind of post. A post shown as free stays free until we say otherwise. We review every post before it goes live and may reject or edit it.

How to buy and pay

1. Choose a plan or post type and fill in its form. No account or login is needed.
2. Pay by UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or any UPI app) to the number shown on our payment page, or as shown on the form for that post.
3. Send the payment screenshot on WhatsApp, together with any logo, banner or photos your plan needs.
4. We check your details and the payment. Your listing or post goes live after we approve it.

Pay only to the number shown on our payment page. We never ask you to pay to any other person or number. If someone asks you to, please write to us before paying.

We may add an online payment gateway such as Razorpay. If you pay through one, the gateway’s own terms also apply, and we do not see or store your card or bank details.

We may ask for documents, such as your GST certificate or proof of ownership of a property, to confirm that a business or listing is genuine. We may decline or remove a listing that we cannot confirm.

GST and payment proof

Our prices include GST. For payments made by Google Pay or another UPI app, the UPI payment receipt is your proof of payment. Where a payment is made through an online payment gateway, the invoice or receipt is issued by that route.

Listing period, renewal and expiry

A business plan runs for 12 months from the date we activate it. We may send a reminder before it ends, but renewing is your responsibility.

If a business plan is not renewed, the features of the plan are hidden and the listing may be taken off the directory until it is renewed. Your information is not deleted when a plan expires, and renewing brings the listing back.

A job post is taken down when the period you paid for ends.

Refunds and cancellation

• Before work starts: you can cancel and get a full refund. Work starts when we begin writing, preparing or publishing your listing, post or page.
• If we reject your submission or cannot publish it, you get a full refund.
• After work has started or the listing or post is live: the fee is not refundable, because the work has been done and delivered.

Refunds are sent back by the same route you paid, usually within 7 working days. To ask for a refund, write to bala@brusoft.in or message us on WhatsApp with your reference.

Your content and responsibility

You confirm that everything you submit is accurate, that you are allowed to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. This includes business details, logos, photos, product descriptions, job details, property details and links.

You allow Kovai Guide to display, edit, shorten, translate and optimise this content for search engines and AI assistants, and to write descriptions, summaries, FAQs and banners from the information you give us. You may use the text and banners we prepare for you in your own business.

You are responsible for what you list or post and for keeping it up to date. We may edit or remove content at any time if it is inaccurate, misleading or against these terms.

Reviews and ratings

Visitors can post reviews and ratings. A review must be genuine, based on your own experience, and free of abuse, personal attacks and false claims. Businesses may not post reviews of themselves, pay for reviews or ask for reviews to be removed in return for money.

Reviews are the opinions of the people who write them, not ours. We check reviews before or after they appear, and we may remove any review that breaks these rules or that we cannot trust.

Jobs and property: our role

Jobs: we are not an employer or a recruitment agency and we do not guarantee that a job is genuine or that anyone will be hired. Employers must post real vacancies, must not charge candidates any fee, and must not discriminate unlawfully. Candidates should check an employer before sharing documents and should never pay money to get a job. Please report any suspicious post to us.

Property: we are not a broker and take no commission on a deal. Unless a listing says otherwise, we do not verify ownership, title, approvals or prices. Buyers and tenants should check documents, visit the property and take their own advice before paying anything. Property owners and authorised agents must have the right to list the property.

Places, events and offers information

We try to keep information about places, timings, entry fees, events and offers correct, but it can change without notice. Please confirm with the venue or business before you travel or buy. Offers are made by the businesses, and the business sets and honours the terms of its own offer.

Verification and badges

GST Verified means we checked that the GST number given matches the business at the time we checked. Other badges are based on what the business tells us and are not independently audited.

A badge is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality, delivery or reliability. We may remove a badge if the information changes or turns out to be wrong.

No guarantee of results

We work to make listings easy to find, but we do not promise any number of enquiries, sales, visitors, search rankings or recommendations by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Perplexity. Those depend on search engines and other companies that we do not control.

Links from a listing to your website may carry attributes such as nofollow or sponsored where search engine guidelines call for it, so a link may not pass ranking value.

Enquiries and the catalogue cart

When a visitor taps WhatsApp, Call or Email on a listing, the visitor contacts the business directly. We do not intercept or filter these messages. We may count that an enquiry button was used.

The catalogue cart and the WhatsApp Quote buttons build a message in your own browser. Nothing is sent until you send it in WhatsApp. The business is responsible for how it replies and for its dealings with you. Please check a business before paying any advance. We are not responsible for disputes, delays, defects or losses between visitors and businesses or posters.

What is not allowed

• False or misleading information, or pretending to be another business or person.
• Goods, services, jobs or property that are illegal or restricted in India.
• Spam, fake listings, fake reviews, fake enquiries or abusive content.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
• Copying listings in bulk, or using automated tools to collect data from the site.

We may reject, suspend or remove a listing or post that breaks these rules. If the breach is yours, there is no refund.

Intellectual property

The design, code and layout of the site, our own guides and photographs, and the written material we create belong to us or our licensors. Business names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. You may share a link to a page, but you may not copy the site or its content for a competing service.

Links to other websites

Listings link to websites and social pages run by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Disclaimer and limit of liability

The site and its content are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or business, or any loss arising from dealings between visitors, businesses, employers, candidates, owners and tenants or buyers. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan or post in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version is posted here with its date. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
